Charges have been filed against the father of a Moorhead
infant who died last week after she was left in a hot minivan. Clay County
Attorney Brian Melton says that Andrew Sandstrom is being charged with one

City council approves sewer rate increase, new fee

Starting in September Willmar sanitary sewer system users will start seeing an extra 10 dollar fee on their bill, plus a small user rate increase. City officials say they need to increase revenues to cover the costs of building and operating the new 80 million dollar wastewater treatment plant west of town. (Brooklyn Park, MN) -- Police say a two-month old baby missing from an apartment in Brooklyn Park has been found alive in St. Paul and a woman and man have been arrested. Authorities say the mother knows the suspects, but did not describe her relationship with them. The infant was first reported missing around six a.m.

(Hinckley, MN) -- Authorities are trying to locate the driver who struck down a military veteran near a ramp on Interstate 35 just before 11 p.m. Monday night in Hinckley. 25-year-old Trevor Langlois of Wyoming, MN was assisting another motorist when he was struck. (Minneapolis, MN) -- Police have made in an arrest in the shooting death of a Jordan man early Monday in south Minneapolis. Officers say the murder of 35-year-old Daniel Maniece was an isolated incident and no other suspects are being sought. The Hennepin County Attorney's Office is reviewing the case for charges.
