Closing Arguments Tomorrow In Trevino Murder Trial
(St. Paul, MN) -- The prosecution and defense both rested their cases today in the Jeffrey Trevino murder trial without calling the defendant to the stand (Mon). Trevino's lawyer presented no witnesses and the judge then excused the jury for the day. Closing arguments are scheduled for tomorrow morning (Tues9am). Thirty-nine-year-old Trevino is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his 30-year-old wife, Kira Steger. She disappeared in late February and her body was recovered from the Mississippi River on May 8th. Trevino was arrested while Kira was still missing after large amounts of her blood were found in their St. Paul home.
