Dairy Queen Employee Goes Above And Beyond
(Hopkins, MN) -- A Minnesota Dairy Queen employee's simple act of kindness has gone viral, after a customer watched the 19-year-old only identified as Joey stand up for a blind customer and emailed store management. That email was posted to the website Reddit. "Joey" works at the Hopkins Dairy Queen, and the customer's note says he saw 'an older lady' pick up and pocket a $20 bill that a blind customer dropped on the floor. He confronted the customer, and when she refused to give the money back he asked her to leave the store. After the confrontation "Joey" apparently took $20 out of his own wallet and gave it to the blind customer, saying he was doing it, "On behalf of Dairy Queen."
