U-of-M Athletic Director Supports Coach Kill 100-Percent
(Minneapolis, MN) -- The athletic director at the University of Minnesota says he is "100-percent" behind his football coach. Norwood Teague says a third sideline seizure in three seasons isn't enough for him to lose confidence in head coach Jerry Kill. Teague says he has no plans to fire the head coach and he is quite certain Kill isn't going to quit. He says coach Kill is a competitor and he is a great coach. Teague says he has full faith that the football program will continue to move forward. He says Kill is so focused on the day-to-day he rarely looks up, which is great, which makes him a great coach. Teague says Kill is feeling good today and he expects Kill to be at practice.
