Sen. Klobuchar Introduces Cell Phone Unlocking Bill
(Washington, DC) -- U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar has introduced legislation that would allow cell phone unlocking. She says if the bill is passed it would require cell phone companies to allow consumers to keep their phones even if they change their carrier for cell phone service. Klobuchar says the unlocking would give consumers more choices and increase competition in the wireless market.
