(Collegeville, MN) -- Catholics around the world have a new pope: Cardinal Jorge (HOR'-hay) Bergoglio (ber-goh-LEE'-oh) from Argentina is now Pope Francis the First. Bill Cahoy, dean of the School of Theology at Saint John's University in Collegeville, says the pope's experience is a hopeful sign and he has real "pastoral sensitivity." Cahoy says the new pope is a Jesuit, who have reputations for wanting justice. He says, by being the first to choose the name "Francis," it's also a sign that the new pope will be willing to blaze new ground.
