(Renton, WA) -- 3-13-13-- Percy Harvin is set to continue his NFL career in Seattle.
The Seahawks acquired the versatile wide receiver from the Minnesota
Vikings for a first and seventh-round draft pick this year and a mid-round
pick next year. Harvin met with Seattle reporters yesterday in Washington
State and says he's excited to be joining a great team on the rise. Harvin
was entering the final year of his rookie contract, but Pro Football Talk
reports he has agreed to a new six-year, 67-million-dollar deal. Harvin had
been in a contract dispute with the Vikings and had also clashed with head
coach Leslie Frazier. The 24-year-old had 62 catches for 677 yards and
three touchdowns in nine games last season before landing on injured reserve
with a severe ankle sprain. The Florida product was Minnesota's first round
pick in 2009. (MNN)
