(Minneapolis, MN) -- A final decision on a builder for the new Vikings Stadium is on hold. The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) planned to pick a firm at its meeting today (FRI), but officials now say they're not ready to move forward with either of the two finalists. Local company Mortenson Construction and Hunt Construction -- which built Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis -- are in the running. Despite the delay, a statement from the Sports Facilities Authority says "significant progress" is being made in the selection of a builder. Officials say an announcement could come as soon as the end of next week.
