(Various) -- Two Minnesota Vikings shared the spotlight Saturday. Former Viking wide receiver Cris Carter was announced for his induction into the football Hall of Fame in Canton. And running back Adrian Peterson was named the league's Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year for 2012. After rupturing his ACL and MCL in December 2011, Peterson bounced back in 2012 to post the 2nd-highest rushing total in NFL history, finishing with 2,097 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
