(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson has filed a lawsuit against a South Dakota developer accused of misleading Minnesota farmers who invested in wind turbine systems. The suit alleges that Renewable Energy SD marketed wind turbine energy systems to farmers, who each paid the company around 120-thousand dollars for the projects. Farmers accuse the company of installing faulty systems, not properly maintaining the systems and not generating promised revenue on operational systems.
