Man Accused Of Dismembering Wife Says He Bought Better Saw
(St. Paul, MN) -- A St. Paul man charged with killing and dismembering his wife told police he went to Menards to buy a better saw because one he was using wasn't cutting easily. According to an affidavit filed in Ramsey County court this week, Steven Johnson also told investigators they would find the nine-millimeter gun he used to shoot Manya Johnson in his basement. Johnson admitted to police that he shot his wife in the head, dismembered her body and placed her remains in plastic bins--which he then stored in his friend's garage in White Bear Lake.
