(St. Peter, MN) -- Former state Representative Allen Quist wants to return to the Capitol after a failed run for Congress in Minnesota's 1st District. The St.Peter Republican is running for the House District 19-A seat that is being vacated by D-F-L Representative Terry Morrow. Quist says protecting and promoting the interests of small business and agriculture are his top legislative priorities. He served three terms in the Minnesota House in the 1980s and was the 1994 G-O-P nominee for governor.
