points to lead Minnesota to a come-from-behind 88-81 double overtime win over
Creighton yesterday. The Gophers trailed by as many as 20 points in the
first half, and were behind 52-33 with ten-minutes left in the game. The
Gophers closed the final ten-minutes of the contest on a 25-to-6 run to send
the game into overtime. Each team scored 14 points in the first overtime,
pushing the tilt to a second extra frame. The Gophers were 21-for-22 from
the free throw line in the victory. Minnesota is now 11-and-3 on the season
and will open Big Ten play on Thursday at Michigan State. (MNN)
