(Undated) -- A new scam is targeting timeshare owners. The Minnesota Better Business Bureau's Dan Hendrickson says over the last several months they've noticed four firms claiming to have an address in the Twin Cities, and claiming to be a reseller of timeshare properties. He says none of these entities is legitimate and they've been scamming people in some cases to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. He says it's a buyer's market right now--so if you get a call out of the blue and someone says they can get top-dollar for your timeshare--be skeptical and research whether you're dealing with a legitimate company.
