NHLPA To Start Vote On Dissolving Union

(New York, NY) -- The NHL's labor battle is taking another ugly turn. ESPN reports the entire NHL Players' Association membership will begin a vote today on whether to allow the executive board to file a disclaimer of interest. It would be the first step in dissolving the union. The vote will take place over five days and would need a two-thirds majority vote to pass from the 700-plus members of the NHLPA. (MNN)
