(New Hope, MN) -- Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the metro. According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, an off-duty Crystal police officer encountered a male suspect at a New Hope gas station when a shot was fired. The suspect then drove off in the officer's personal vehicle. The suspect was later arrested in Minneapolis with what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The officer was treated for minor injuries and is currently on standard paid administrative leave. Police are investigating whether the suspect may have been involved in two earlier assaults at gas stations in the New Hope area.
