New Air Carrier Flying Out Of St. Cloud

(St. Cloud, MN) --  Allegiant Air will begin offering flights between Saint Cloud and Mesa, Arizona this weekend (Sat5pm).  It's the first commercial air service at Saint Cloud Regional Airport in three years.  Director Bill Towle (TOLL) says ticket sales have been strong since the announcement of regular flights four months ago.  Allegiant plans to offer two flights per week from central Minnesota to Arizona at a cost of 75 to 300 dollars one way.  Towle says federal T-S-A agents will be back in Saint Cloud when Allegiant has flights scheduled.
