Parcel Deliveries Up For Holiday Season

(St. Paul, MN)  --  U.S. Postal Service officials say while we continue to see a decline in the number of holiday cards and letters that are being mailed each year, there's been an upsurge in parcel delivery.    USPS spokesman Pete Nowacki says he expects a 20-percent increase over last year.  Nowacki says holiday cards and letters should be mailed out by December 20th, the 21st for Priority Mail packages and the 22nd for Express Mail packages -- that are being mailed here in the U.S.
