(Wahpeton, ND) -- Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative had a very large crop this year harvesting more than three-million tons of sugar beets. The estimated overall payment to growers is 226-million dollars. President and Chief Executive Dave Roche says the 2011 crop translated into a payment of 155-million dollars, which he calls disappointing. The Wahpeton-based cooperative is holding its 40th annual meeting in Fargo.
