(Mankato, MN) -- It's a waiting game now for MSU Mankato head football coach Todd Hoffner. Written arguments have been in the judge's hands for a week...one a petition to dismiss all charges against him...the other an argument to proceed to trial. Hoffner is charged with two counts of child pornography related to videos of his children that were found on his work cell phone. Retired attorney and former Mankato prosecutor Bailey Blethen (BLETH-en) says it's possible that even if the judge believes Hoffner is innocent, the court will allow the case to proceed for legal reasons. Todd Hoffner testified that the videos were just his kids goofing around after a bath. A search of his home and computers found no other evidence.
