--  The State Patrol reports around 50 crashes during this morning's icy commute as travelers slipped and slid along the state's roads.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation says roads were not pre-treated ahead of this morning's snowfall.  Despite the high number of fender-benders, no injuries were reported.
