(Foley, MN) --  Opening arguments have begun in the Angelina O’Mara trial in Benton County.   The 39-year-old from Rice is charged with first and second degree murder in the death of her ex-husband James O’Mara last November.  He was found dead in his Sauk Rapids apartment with a gunshot wound to the head.  O’Mara also faces a murder charge in Wisconsin after her boyfriend, Michael Pies was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head. Pies’ body was found in an Ashland, Wisconsin hotel room just days after O’Mara’s body was found.
