(Northfield, MN)  --  Officials in Rice County have arrested a man suspected of armed robbery in Northfield early this morning.  A manhunt involving several police agencies was launched when the suspect, 25-year-old Eric Forcier, fled on foot after allegedly robbing a hotel employee at gunpoint and shooting at responding officers as he made his escape.  No one was injured in the shooting.
