(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Supreme Court today (Fri) without comment said "no" to a request to halt the state's wolf hunting season that's set to begin November 3rd. The Center for Biological Diversity and the group Howling for Wolves took the issue to the high court after the state Court of Appeals denied their petition earlier this month. Meanwhile, two national groups -- The Fund for Animals and the Humane Society of the United States -- say they'll ask a federal judge in Washington to put the grey wolf back on the endangered species list and stop this fall's hunts in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
