-- Another round over the marriage amendment as backers released their latest T-V ad today. In the spot, Massachusetts resident Tonia Parker says if marriage is redefined in Minnesota, same-sex marriage could be taught in local schools, just as it was in her state. Parker says her six-year-old son was exposed to instruction about homosexual relationships in kindergarten and her husband David ended up in court when he objected. John Helmberger with the group Minnesota for Marriage warns if gay marriage is legalized, activists will push such teaching throughout Minnesota. Opponents respond that claim has been refuted by national and local media for years. Kate Brickman with Minnesotans United for All Families says supporters of the amendment don't want to debate the real issue: whether Minnesota will limit the freedom to marry for one group of people.
