(St. Paul, MN) -- A fifth Minnesotan has been diagnosed with fungal meningitis linked to tainted steroids. The Health Department confirmed the additional case today. Officials say more than 800 Minnesotans may have been exposed to the steroids after receiving injections at two metro-area clinics--Medical Advance Specialists and the Minnesota Surgery Center.
