(St. Paul, MN) -- Mayor Chris Coleman joined forces with business owners in downtown St. Paul today to send a message to the NHL - end the lockout and get back on the ice. Many businesses are on edge because sales are down and it's ultimately affecting their bottom line. The 2012-2013 hockey season was slated to open today, and the Wild would have played their first game Saturday. But instead, all matches have been canceled through October 26th. Meanwhile, the league and players union continue to meet but no bargaining agreement seems to be in sight. Similar coordinated events were held across the country.
