(Fergus Falls, MN)  --  A Pelican Rapids man is jailed and charged with attempted murder after a gun was fired during an alleged drug sale.  28-year-old Fikret Saric  is in Otter Tail County Jail on 150 thousand dollars' bond.  The criminal complaint alleges several people drove from Fergus Falls to Pelican Rapids last Thursday to allegedly purchase marijuana from Saric.  Investigators say a gun was fired at the car twice, with one bullet going into the rear part of the passenger side front door.  The vehicle's occupants told authorities they believed Saric was trying to kill them but they were not injured.
