On October 09, 2012 at 6:10 am, the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle accident on County Road 17 near County Road 6. The accident was located approximately four (4) miles south of Renville in Emmet Township. Mardi Lee Robben , age 34, of Morgan was traveling westbound on County Road 17 when his vehicle entered the eastbound ditch. Robben’s vehicle, 2003 Ford Windstar, came to a stop when it hit a utility pole. Robben was transported by the Renville Ambulance Service to Renville County Hospital in Olivia. Robben’s condition is unknown at this time. Agencies that assisted with the accident included the Renville Ambulance Service and Renville Fire Department. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the accident.
