(Moorhead, MN) -- A dramatic rescue in a fiery head-on crash just north of Moorhead Tuesday night. One of the victims owes her life to heroic efforts of several poeple and Clay County Deputy Mark Empting, who one of the first on scene. Empting says 25-year-old Brianna Pallota's entire engine compartment was engulfed in flames...he grabbed a pry bar and he and a passerby were able to pull her out of the car before the flames reached her. Pallota suffered burns and other non-life threatening injuries. The couple in the other car, 83-year-old Nolan Underlee and 79 year old Doris Underlee of Hendrum, are in critical condition.
