Flurries Continue In NW Minnesota, Gale Warnings On Lake Superior

--  The flakes continue flying across the whitened land of far northwestern Minnesota.  Visibility is limited in Roseau, Kittson and Marshall counties as light snow and strong winds continue.  An additional three- to five-inches of lake effect snow could pile up by tonight in Lake of the Woods County.  Northwestern Minnesota got up to 14-inches of snow last night as winter weather made its first appearance.  On Lake Superior, gale warnings are back today.  Forecasters say wind speeds up to 40-knots could create 10- to 12-foot waves.  The rest of the state will stay unseasonably cold today -- in the 30's to upper 40's -- compared with highs this time of year that are usually in the low 60's.
