No Travel Advised in NW Minnesota

(Bemidji, MN) --  The Minnesota Department of Transportation is recommending no travel in the northwest corner of the state.   MnDOT's Karen Bedeau  says the area is being hit with strong winds, blowing snow and rain.  She says some of the roadways west of Bemidji have between five to six inches of slush already accumulated on them.  Bedeau says the snowplows are out trying to keep up with the falling snow and slush.  She recommends calling or checking 5-1-1 to get the latest road conditions.   The Minnesota Department of Transportation is recommending no travel in the northwest corner of the state.
