Life Sentence Expected For Man Convicted Of Fatally Stabbing Wife



(Minneapolis, MN)  --  A Brooklyn Park man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted of killing his wife last September.  Fifty-four-year-old Prince Moore Junior was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Mauryn (MORE-in) Moore.  The defendant told police his wife tried to stab him in his sleep and he stabbed her in return.  The autopsy found the victim suffered 63 stab wounds to her hands, back, face, chest and neck.  Moore will receive the automatic life prison sentence Thursday morning (10/4 10am).
