Minnesotan Linked to Salmonella Peanut Butter Outbreak
(St.Paul, MN) -- The state Department of Health is confirming that one Minnesotan has been linked to a multi-state outbreak of salmonella associated with Trader Joe's Creamy Salted Peanut Butter. The case involves an adult from the Twin Cities area who was hospitalized and since recovered. Officials say this individual became ill in late July. To date, 29 people have been linked to this outbreak in 18 states. Four people have been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.
