(St. Paul, MN) -- Archbishop John Nienstedt was among 40 church leaders on the steps of the State Capitol today urging Minnesotans to vote "yes" on the marriage amendment. Nienstedt called it a "wonderful sight" to see clergy from so many different churches "show their support for our basic understanding of marriage as a union between one man and one woman." Roman Catholics in Minnesota are deeply divided on the issue. Minnesotans United for All Families released its first T-V ad today, featuring a Catholic couple urging Minnesotans to vote "no" on the marriage amendment.
