MN Teachers Show Support for Striking Chicago Teachers
(Chicago, IL) -- Striking teachers in Chicago are set to vote today on a tentative agreement that would put them back to work. On Saturday, teachers from Minnesota were among those rallying in the Windy City to show their support for their colleagues. Julie Blaha, President of the Education Minnesota local in Anoka-Hennepin, says all teachers want to make sure their students have class sizes that are going to work for them and that teachers have the right tools give the kids what they need.
