Bonding Bill Projects Awarded $47 Million In State Funding



(St.Paul, MN)  --  Saint Paul is the big winner for its new Saints ballpark as Governor Dayton today parceled out 47 million dollars in additional state bonding money.  The governor allocated 25 million dollars to the project.  Mayor Chris Coleman is thanking the governor for his support and calls it a "huge day for the City of Saint Paul and our state."  Other projects that are receiving state funding:  Litchfield gets two-point-three million and Hector gets one-point-one million for wastewater infrastructure upgrades...Lonsdale one-point-five million for street improvements.....Redwood/Renville one-point-nine million for a solid waste project...Hutchinson 764-thousand dollars for a "small business incubator"...Duluth eight-and-a-half million for downtown development and a parking ramp...and Wadena four-point-two million for a public health and wellness facility.  Requests from Rochester, Saint Cloud and Mankato for convention center upgrades are not included.
