(St. Paul, MN) -- Senate Republican Majority Leader Dave Senjem accuses Governor Dayton of missing the mark when he parceled out 47 million dollars of bonding money that the legislature left uncommitted. Senjem is critical of Dayton designating more than half the funds for a new Saint Paul Saints ballpark. He says while it's a nice amenity, it's not an economic driver. Senjem says the legislature wanted "show-stopping economic development projects that would really benefit the state of Minnesota." The governor says the Mankato, Rochester and Saint Cloud convention center projects would be on the top of his bonding request in 2013.
