German Ag Manufacturer Chooses St. Cloud

(St. Cloud, MN)  --  A German agricultural equipment manufacturer has picked St. Cloud for its first U.S. operation.  Geringhoff (GAIR-ing-hoff) expects its 20-million-dollar plant will employ about 100 people.  Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation's Dave Gruenes (green-ees) says the area beat out more than 40 other facilities across the country.  Geringhoff C-E-O Daniel Hansmeier says they made their first visit to St. Cloud in January and knew then they had found their location.  Hansmeier says the company sees a huge potential for growth in the North American market.  The state will provide Geringhoff with a 500-thousand dollar loan.
