(Minneapolis, MN) -- With August ending, it's time for farmers to consider their own safety while harvesting crops. Dan Martens with the University of Minnesota says it's important to take care of equipment and pay attention to traffic. Martens says the current dry weather, plus an early start in planting this spring, have combined to give farmers a head-start on some harvesting.
