(Lanesboro, MN) -- An Austin woman is dead and her husband injured following a motorcycle crash in Fillmore County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at around 2:00 pm Saturday. Forty-nine-year-old Paul Legried was driving the motorcycle eastbound on Highway 16 when the bike went out of control, went into a ditch and struck a pole. Legried suffered non-life threatening injuries. His wife and passenger, 38-year-old Dana Legried, was killed. The State Patrol says the couple were not wearing helmets. The crash remains under investigation.
