Two Men Charged With Stealing Money From State Fair Booth
8-29-12 (Falcon Heights, MN) -- Two Saint Paul men face first-degree burglary charges in the theft of 24-thousand dollars from a booth at the Minnesota State Fair. The money was stolen last Friday night from a safe at the French Meadow Bakery and Cafe. The criminal complaint says 50-year-old Eric Massey and 52-year-old Robert Love were caught on surveillance video breaking into the office and loading something into plastic bags. Police arrested Massey in Pine County and later found more than nine-thousand dollars cash hidden in his apartment. An arrest warrant has been issued for Love.
