8-29-12 (Undated) -- The latest case of the H3N2 virus, or swine flu, has been confirmed in a man in his twenties from the Twin Cities. Health officials say the man purchased a pig at a live animal market in Dakota County on August 17th. State Epidemiologist Richard Danila (duh-NIL-uh) says so far this year, three cases of the virus have been reported from that same animal market. Danila says health officials are working with the Department of Agriculture to develop ways to better protect consumers. Nationwide, there have been 277 cases of the H3N2 virus reported.
