8-17-12 (Washington, DC)  --  The U-S Small Business Administration has granted Governor Dayton's request for a disaster declaration for Carlton, Pine and Saint Louis counties and the Fond du Lac Band in response to severe flooding in June.  The declaration makes low-interest loans available to affected homeowners, businesses, renters and not-for-profit organizations.  People in the surrounding counties -- Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Koochiching and Lake -- can also apply, as well as those in Burnett and Douglas counties in Wisconsin.
