Duluth Police Investigating Suspicious Incident Involving State Rep
8-15-12(Duluth, MN) -- Duluth police say they're actively investigating an incident involving "suspicious activity" at the Thompson Hill rest area on I-35 late the night of July 22nd -- and the incident reportedly involves State Representative Kerry Gauthier (goth-ee-AY), a Democrat from Duluth. State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske (ROSS-key) says a witness approached a trooper who then had contact with Gauthier and turned the matter over to Duluth police. Gauthier has not been reachable and a spokeman for the House DFL caucus says they are not commenting.
