8-7-12 (St. Paul, MN)  --  The Dayton administration wants the legislature to approve nearly 190 million dollars for flood relief in northeastern and south-central Minnesota, but some Republicans are balking at the number.  Included would be a 26-million-dollar state match for federal aid...82 million to repair roads...20 million to help damaged businesses...and about 40 million for natural resources damage.  Whether the state will help homeowners is still up in the air.  Jordan Senator, Republican Claire Robling says if she has a washout in her field, she doesn't call the government to fix it.  Robling says the floods are a big disaster, but there has to be some personal responsibility on private property.  A special session on flood relief is tentatively set for August 24th.
