(Boston, MA)  --  With two on, two out, and two strikes in the top of the ninth Joe Mauer smashed a three-run homer as the Twins beat the Red Sox at Fenway last night.  Ben Revere extended his hitting streak to 18 games with a single in the fifth.  Reliever Alex Burnett picked up the win and Jared Burton got his fifth save.  Rookie starter Cole DeVries pitched seven strong innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks in his 10th career start.  The Twins go for the sweep at Boston this afternoon with Nick Blackburn going against leftie Franklin Morales.
