7-18-12 (Duluth, MN)  --  Carlton County Attorney Thom Pertler is scheduled to be arraigned today after he was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of drunken driving.  The State Patrol stopped 48-year-old Pertler of Cloquet on Highway 61 near Duluth following complaints that he was driving erratically.  Troopers saw Pertler's vehicle cross the centerline before they pulled him over.  He refused to take a sobriety test and could face fourth-degree drunken driving charges. Pertler has been Carlton County attorney since 2005.
