(Chanhassen, MN)  --  A blanket of extreme heat moves in over a good portion of the Upper Midwest today -- and that includes the lower two-thirds of Minnesota.  Upper-90's to low-100's are expected in southern and central Minnesota, as far north as Duluth and Bemidji.  The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat advisory over the area from 11 this morning until late tonight.  All of Wisconsin and most of South Dakota will also be baking later today.
