Police Shut Down Twitter Account In Worthington
7-12-12 (Worthington, MN) -- Worthington school officials have helped police shut down a Twitter account apparently set up to bully students at the high school. Superintendent John Landgaard says the incident could lead to lawsuits and, if it carries into the school year, expulsion for those involved. Landgaard says he has visited with a number of parents who were totally appalled by some comments made. Landgaard says he has a half page of handwritten names of high school students and graduates who played some role in the Twitter account. The investigation continues.
